Delirium is very good book its about fifteen year old Lena, who lives in a dystopian united states where love is considered a disease, and the cure is to get surgery at the age of sixteen. Lena is anxious to get her procedure over with so that she is safe. boys and girls are separated until they're they are cured for fear that they will be infected with the deliria [love] she only has 95 days left when things start to change for Lena.
everyone thats procedure date is nearing is required to take an evaluation that ensure that they are not infected. for example they would ask her for her favorite color they would be wanting a bright nice color so if you were to answer gray or black not a good sign. so what would happen if Lena met some one that not only wasn't cured but lived in the wildes. [wildes live illegally outsite of the city they do not believe in the cure, but where believed to have died of starvation]
i gave this book four stars for its breathe taking plot and well developed characters.
